After the success of last year and by popular request Come ✝ See is back
Sun 3rd March – Help us launch this exciting programme at St John’s Pewsey when our new Bishop of Ramsbury, Bishop Andrew, will be coming to preach and pray for us.
Tue 5th March (Shrove Tuesday) Pancake Racing, at 3.15pm in the Pewsey Scout Hut. (Pancakes provided but bring your own frying pan).
Fri 15th March – Jeremy Marshall, former CEO of Hoare’s Bank, who three years ago was diagnosed with terminal cancer will talk about his faith and experience and ‘Finding hope in death’.
Thursday 28th March – Flower arranging workshop with Ros Peace, a Chelsea Gold Medallist and the Dean of Salisbury Cathedral (booking essential).
Thu 4th April – Rachel Wright, whose son was born with complex disabilities, will talk about finding God in brokenness and life’s turmoils.
Fri 12th April – Sir Jeremy Cooke, a retired High Court judge will talk about his faith and life in the law as well as finding the truth of the resurrection of Jesus having investigated it with all his legal skills.
There will be three Cinema evenings on Monday evenings.
On Wednesday evenings Gerald Osborne will be taking us through the Gospel of St Mark, sharing his passion for this pacey and thrilling gospel and what he has learned through studying, memorising and performing it.
There is also an opportunity to hear Colin Heber-Percy giving the Marlborough Lent talks on ‘God of the Gaps’. He will also be using Mark’s Gospel to explore this on Wednesday evenings.
