For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat,
I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink,
I was a stranger and you invited me in,
I needed clothes and you clothed me,
I was sick and you looked after me,
I was in prison and you came to visit me.
The theme for Christian Aid Week this year was collecting to support some of the 60 million people across the globe fleeing their homes because of war, conflict and disaster, and making dangerous journeys in search of safety.
Thank you for your support of this valuable work.
Thanks go to all the stalwart door to door collectors and those collecting outside the Co-op and at the Railway Station as well as those hosting special events.
Thanks also to everybody who helped with the Christian Aid counting, particularly Sally-Ann Ward, the Treasurer.
Easton Royal £334
North Newnton £50
