Christening/Baptism

Getting yourself or your child baptised

Anyone is welcome to get in touch to find about having their child christened. During a christening your child will be baptised with water. It’s the start of an amazing journey of faith for your child and a special day for all your friends and family.

This is not just for infants though – you are never too old to take this step, and being baptised as an adult is a wonderful experience.

Baptisms usually take place at main Sunday Services. Where this is not possible, we work with families to arrange an alternative date and time.

The candidates and parents (and where possible godparents) will be prepared for the service. This preparation includes looking at the service in detail and examining the significance of this step forward in your spiritual life.
