Outdoor (Muddy) Church 🌳
Join us for a wander and a wonder
March's Outdoor Church will start from St. John's Churchyard - note the name change - the same event just a new name - still 3pm (4pm from April after the clock change).
We will finish promptly for a screening of 'Climate Change - the facts' by the wonderful Sir David Attenborough, on the big screen in St. John's. Hot drinks at 4.15pm for 4.30 film. Sir David Attenborough looks at the science of climate change and potential solutions to this global threat.
Outdoor Church is a chance to be together outside, for all ages; to go for a Wander nearby, taking time to be aware of our Creator around us as we explore, and to Wonder about the world he gave us
Outdoor Church is our monthly gathering (4th Sunday of every month usually!) - a chance to be together outside, away from screens, for all ages; to go for a Wander nearby, taking time to be aware of God around us as we explore, and to Wonder about the world he gave us
Each relaxed and informal session meets usually at St. John’s Churchyard, going for a mini-adventure of about 1.3 miles (there’s a shorter option if you really can’t manage that), with ideas to help us think about the theme of the day - chat with others as you walk, or just have a think by yourself.

Reward at the end!
At the end back at the churchyard there'll also be a hot chocolate or tea/coffee - who knows, we might even need a cold drink(!), a craft activity and then a final prayer at about 4.30pm.
🐾 You can bring the dogs if they’re well-behaved, same goes for the grandparents! Dogs need to be on a lead though - as well as possible livestock in fields, not everyone loves our four-legged friends as much as us!
Everyone’s welcome - please come dressed for the wonderful English weather ☀️⚡️- that’s all you need though; map, instructions and refreshments all provided.
Starts at 3pm in winter, 4pm spring, summer, autumn (changes with the clocks).
