Celtic Reflective space – Lent Course
We will be running a weekly Lent course on Zoom, starting on Tuesday 28th February at 7.30pm. We will be using material from Br Cassian Cole’s book Celtic Lent: 40 days of devotions to Easter, the Northumbria Community’s Celtic Daily Prayer, and John O’Donohue’s Benedictus. Each session will last about 45 minutes, and you’re welcome to drop in on any of them. There will be readings, times of reflection, music, some discussion and silence.
The dates are: 28th February, 8th March, 14th March, 21st March, 28th March, and 4th April. The 8th of March is a Wednesday, this is to avoid clashing with Bishop Andrew Rumsey’s Deanery event in Burbage. All of the other dates are Tuesdays.
Please contact Brenda at the team office or Mark Woodrow (below) before the 28th February, to receive the Zoom link and the first pack of notes, which will be a pdf. You can view these on-screen, or print them; I will make them text-only so they’re less of a drain on your ink. I will also open the first meeting early, to send the notes to anyone who wants to receive them on the night.
