Tree Planting Project!

We’re really excited to invite you and your children to be a part of this awesome project!

Meet at St. John’s Churchyard

As part of our ‘Eco Church’ efforts we've teamed up with ‘Pewsey Green’ who have obtained funding for the planting of 25 new trees and we need YOUR help to find locations for them and plant them.

“We live in the countryside, why do we need to plant trees?”

Well lots of reasons really - come along to Muddy Church on Sunday 22^nd September and find out why we’re doing this, then we'll head out for a walk around Pewsey so you can help decide where to plant the trees. Then early next year, return as a family and help plant 'your' tree!

If you haven’t been to Muddy Church before, everyone’s welcome! It's very relaxed - we start with a prayer, go for a walk, chat about life, and then head back for hot drinks, snacks around the fire and sometimes a craft activity. This month we’ll probably have a few lines of blessing prayer for our community as we go.

Muddy Church is our monthly gathering (4th Sunday of every month usually!) - a chance to be together outside, away from screens, for all ages; to go for a Wander nearby, taking time to be aware of God around us as we explore, and to Wonder about the world he gave us 🌍

Each relaxed and informal session meets usually at St. John’s Churchyard, going for a mini-adventure of about 1.3 miles (there’s a shorter option if you really can’t manage that), with graphic resources to help us think about the theme of the day - chat with others as you walk, or just have a think by yourself.
