A message from Salisbury Diocese

The Archbishops of Canterbury and York are inviting every Christian to pray together at 6pm for the duration of the second lockdown launching this Thursday.

While Christians are encouraged to pray throughout the day, this will be a collective moment of prayer when we can come together.

Visit the Church of England’s ‘A call to prayer for the nation’.

You can also download or print this booklet to help you join in each evening.

It is also hoped churches and cathedrals – if they are able – will ring a bell to encourage prayer at 6pm and individuals can also set personal alarms on their mobile phones as a reminder to pray at this time.
